Grant is ready and super excited to play soccer this morning!

Grant was on fire!  This kid dominated the game and scored so many goals this morning.

BINGO

Time for another PTO after school social....BINGO!!

I was really excited about this one, and after learning from our first event last month, I felt like this one would go much smoother...and it did!

The big kids played bingo first and then rotated in to the gym for a social

while the little kids got to head to the cafeteria for bingo.

Grades Pre-k through 2nd started out in the gym for a Word Girl episode that featured a game of bingo.

Once that was over, they all headed in to the cafeteria for their turn at picture bingo!

Kate loses a tooth

Before we know it Kate will have a full set of permanent teeth!

Happy Grandparent's Day!

We are truly blessed that our kids have so many amazing grandparents in their lives.

From those near to those farther away, our kids know that they are prayed over, loved on, and cared about by so many!

Birthday Dinner

After cleaning up from Gabe's party, we invited our family to join us for a birthday dinner at the Japanese steakhouse.  And today is also my cousin Dean-o's birthday, so it's double celebrations!

Time to fire up the grill!!

And notice the three eggs being cooked?  That's because Gabe loves to come here...and order scrambled eggs and white rice!  One day he will realize all the yummy foods he is missing....

Gabe's Ninja Party

The celebrations continue and now we have lots of friends coming together for Gabe's "friend" party!

I debated not having a party since he was also having the cabin sleepover, but we had to limit the sleepover and he really wanted a ninja themed party.  And well, I'll admit it, I love birthday parties!  So, party we did!  Thanks to the amazing Mrs. Susan at Coastal Dance, she let us use her building and we were able to get her karate instructor to come in and give a lesson to Gabe and his party guests.  And what made this even more amazing is that up until about a week ago I had a pool party planned for today.  Then the weather has not been cooperating and we had to make some last minute changes...aka scramble for a backup plan!  Turned out though that Plan B was even better than the original plan!

Master Atkinson was amazing!!!  Once all the kids had arrived, he gathered everyone in to the studio and began a karate class.  I think everyone enjoyed it...and certainly Gabe loved every minute!

At the end of class Master Atkinson did a weapons demonstration.

Everyone was so intrigued!

Last but not least, he called Gabe up in front of his friends, gave him his own white belt and karate stick, and had all the kids sing happy birthday!  Thank you SO much Master Atkinson for an incredible 8th birthday for Gabe!!!

The food arrived and I forgot to take pictures of the table!

So, I quickly took a few as the kids filled their plates.  :)

You are sweet and kind and always quick to show your gentle smile.  I love you to the moon and back "Sugar Bear" and hope this next year is filled with lots of fun new experiences and memories that will last a lifetime!
