Happy Halloween!

It's Halloween night...and we are ready to party!

We love to Trick or Treat through Osprey, my parents' neighborhood,

and this year we made a Halloween feast to fill up on before getting loads of candy!

Once our bellies were full and the sun began to set, this crew headed out to collect candy!

Our friends, the Ricards, joined us for all the fun this year.

House after house until our bags couldn't hold any more...

King of Peace

Tonight we are going to another Fall Festival, this time to support Gabe's Cub Scout pack.

Pack 226 sponsors a game at this event since this festival is located at the church where our pack meets each week.  This is much smaller than the other one we went to, but the kids have equal amounts of fun and love seeing more friends.

And who wouldn't love going somewhere that gives you lots of free candy?!?

teaching kids how to play and passing out candy!

We left the church...and took Kate to her first "real" Haunted House on the Navy base,

Grant and Gabe stayed out with me and enjoyed the playground,

while Jon, Kate, & Mason braved the crazy inside...

Happy Apple Halloween

 It's party day at Happy Apple!

Actually, yesterday and today were party days for this little guy since he is enrolled in both the 2 & 3 day Orange Apple classes!  Grant was excited to transform into Spiderman both days and head off to school.

Yesterday I stayed around to help the teachers...and got to peak in on Grant's class.

At 11am, all the kids lined up in their adorable costumes and headed out for the Happy Apple parade.

The kids walked around the block, visiting the Welcome Center and City Hall, where they received treats before heading back to the school.

Despite his serious face, Grant loves his teacher Mrs. Lori.

And we all love office manager Mrs. B too!

I'm not very fond of costumes, but only for Happy Apple would I wear this.  :)

After the kids sand adorable songs on stage, we blessed the food and headed to the tables to eat.

I forgot to go back and take another picture once the plate was full, but I loved the cup of grapes!

Love these sweet kiddos and these Happy Apple friendships that will hopefully last forever...

Pumpkin Carving

Guess what we're doing this afternoon???

It's time to carve our pumpkins!

Daddy came home a little early to help us carve designs.

The kids didn't want to use patterns this year but instead wanted to draw and cut their own faces.

The finished products!!!

They all turned out super cute...er, super scary I mean!  ;)

Trunk or Treat

Tonight is the annual Fall Festival put on by both the Baptist and Methodist churches in Kingsland.

This event is HUGE and draws an equally huge number of people each year.

The kids were excited to play games, see friends, and get lots of candy!

Emma's mom was running a Trunk or Treat station so she got to join us tonight.
